The company employs around 40 people and services over 1000 customers across 40 countries with its headquarters in Theale, Berkshire, a satellite office in Manchester and a sister company in Virginia US.

Your ability to communicate well with all levels in an organisation, think on your feet, handle objections effectively, build credibility and generate well qualified leads for the Sales team is key to success in this role. A knowledge and understanding of IT systems and terminology and business will be a distinct advantage in this role.

MAIN DUTIES – IT TELEMARKETING EXECUTIVE

As an IT Telemarketing Executive, your role will be to generate qualified leads for the Sales team to follow up. You will be responsible for:

  • Working through a database of companies and contacts provided in line with campaigns devised by Marketing and Sales teams
  • Making high volumes of outbound telephone calls to prospective customers, meeting or exceeding targets set
  • Engaging in conversations with decision makers and generating an interest in the company’s products and services
  • Understanding and incorporating the company’s sales philosophy into the approaches made to prospects
  • Completing sales lead documentation and keeping up to date records of activity using a CRM system
  • Communicating and providing timely and accurate updates of activity and results to the Marketing Manager
  • Communicating and sharing any market and competitor intelligence with Marketing and Sales teams

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED – IT TELEMARKETING EXECUTIVE

  • A good understanding of IT infrastructures and terminology is essential
  • Some work experience within a business to business (B2B) sales environment would be an advantage
  • Outstanding and persuasive telephone manner and exceptional communication skills
  • The ability to think on your feet and handle objections effectively
  • The ability to convey your personality and intelligence over the telephone, and build relationships quickly
  • Self confidence and self motivation
  • Tenacity, persistence and resilience with the ability to handle rejection
  • The ability to work in a targeted environment
  • Educated to ”A” level standard as a minimum
  • Computer literate
  • Flexible with a desire to learn and develop
