Palo Alto Networks Names Teneo Rookie Partner of the Year

Teneo, the Infrastructure Optimisation specialist, today announced that it has been named Rookie Partner of the Year by Palo Alto Networks at the Palo Alto Networks’ North America Partner Summit in New Orleans.

The award is a recognition of Teneo’s commitment to accelerated growth and development of new business opportunities in support of Palo Alto Networks’ next generation firewall.

“We are excited to be recognised by Palo Alto Networks for this achievement,” said Mike Matos, VP of Sales for Teneo, Inc. “Having joined the Palo Alto Networks partner community in 2010, we quickly recognised that their firewall technology is highly innovative, which is the exact type of disruptive solution that fits perfectly into Teneo’s portfolio. The awareness of Palo Alto Networks in the marketplace is rapidly growing and we are immensely proud to be a part of that.”

Lauren Fortune, Head of Marketing at Teneo commented:
“Palo Alto Networks brings an interesting technology story to the market. Many have said that their offering almost goes beyond a firewall. What they have recognised is that there is a much wider set of circumstances to consider within an organisation to truly understand where network threats are coming from. Palo Alto Networks puts focus very much on the management and control of whom and how users are interacting with what applications running on the network, which is where Teneo has specialised since its inception.”

“Having evolved as the most experienced partner of Riverbed’s WAN optimisation technology, familiar topics such as virtualisation, mobility, and data centre also form the backdrop to Palo Alto Networks’ core proposition, meaning Teneo has a very solid story to tell.”
