Riverbed Virtual Steelhead

Riverbed Virtual Steelhead is the virtual version of the Riverbed Steelhead WAN optimisation appliance, built to run on the VMware vSphere platform to provide optimum performance in virtualised environments.

WAN optimisation now extends to deployments where physical hardware may not be conveniently suited such as:

Space limited, remote or mobile locations that require minimum physical hardware footprint
Heavily virtualised data centres, where the appliance can be managed by industry standard virtualisation tools
Environments that have specialised requirements such as ruggedisation
